Chronological order provides a timeline of Benjamin Franklin's journey.

Explicação

## Step 1The first step in solving this problem is to understand the text structure used by the author. The text structure refers to how the author organizes the information in the text. The author's text structure can be determined by examining the flow of events or ideas in the text.## Step 2In this excerpt from the Autobiography of Benjamin Franklin, the author describes a series of events in the order they happened. This is evident from the way the author narrates his journey from Burlington to Philadelphia, detailing each event in chronological order.## Step 3The author does not use a table of contents structure, as the text does not provide a list of areas under headings. The text does not provide a detailed description of the author's experiences on the ship, so the description structure is not used. The text does not compare or contrast Benjamin Franklin and George Washington, so the compare and contrast structure is not used.## Step 4Based on the analysis, the author uses a chronological order structure to present the events of his journey. This structure is effective because it allows the reader to follow the author's journey in the order it happened, which helps to create a clear and coherent narrative.
